Specifications FORGS80F20CH6

Zetasassi started producing torque limiters in 1982. They are high quality, reliable safety devices. They are used to protect the controlling parts from overloads that could damage the various organs of transmission. Their use is actually essential where there is a need to ensure effective overload protection. Under normal working conditions, they transmit the necessary torque, but slip when overloaded.Accurate adjustment of the torque is made simply by turning the adjustment ring.if the torque exceeds the set limit, the control part is automatically disconnected from the driven part. GS synchronous torque limiters have an important operating feature: the use of balls housed in conical holes created in the traction flange, a battery of Bellevue washers with regressive line holds them securely in place, thus causing the drag of the flange, where it is possible to house traction bells/flanges, transmission crowns, pinions, pulleys and/or wheels. On exceeding the set torque, the balls will escape from their housing, halting the traction flange, rotation of the internal hub will cause the linear movement of the external cover (this movement can be used by a limit switch or proximity sensor to inform the system of the overload). After removing the cause of the problem, the synchronous joint resets automatically in the same point where it was released, i.e. every 360° of rotation. Main features: -Synchronism of resetting. -Automatic resetting. -Watertight seal of the releasable part. -Lifetime lubrication. -Absence of slack. -Torsional rigidity. -Absence of maintenance. -Protection from corrosion by galvanization. Note: Switches are not included.
