CX Explosion Proof Limith Switches The CX series of limit switches from Honeywell are built especially for outdoor use in hazardous atmospheres. The enclosures are constructed to withstand the pressire of an internal explosion. Flame paths cool the exploded gasses to a point less than the lowest safe operating temperature of the surrounding gas.
